By this innovative product, stereo audio signals of first-class quality are provided absolutely synchronously to your show. It is, in other words, a kind of ‘radio-controlled CD player’ only that this does not lead to time errors (asynchrony) unlike many common playback devices.
The PFE Profi Audio works completely without any data compression and provides the sound quality of a real CD. When using conventional data compression techniques like the well-known MP3, losses in sound quality occur which are recognized not only by music freaks. That is why MP3 is unsuitable for professional artists and expert technicians.
The music source is a WAV file (an audio data file in the wave format) on your computer. If you want to copy the tracks of a CD as a WAV file to your computer, there are a lot of specific programs for doing so. The software ‘Project Maker’ is available free of charge in the download section on our website. This software enables you to transform the WAV file into a file playable by the device. Afterwards this file can be copied by a card drive to the flash card. Finally insert this card into the slot of the PFE Profi Audio.
The major advantage of the CF card is that it is insensitive to shocks, dust, scratches, cold, heat and condensation.
For starting the playback you simply program a channel, preferably channel 1, in the menu of the device. As soon as you start your automatic script at the controller, the device starts the music regardless if the script has been made conventionally or with the Composer. In addition you have the opportunity of programming a test channel for a sound check. To start the test you simply fire this channel. At the end of the sound check quit the firing mode and the device will stop.

Basically the Split Matrix Modules work just as the Matrix Modules with 50 or 100 Outputs. The difference is that the Split Matrix Modules are ideally suited to fire pyrotechnical effects on numerous individual positions by using only one receiver. Typical applications are the installation of effects on the facades of buildings, large front pieces and the usage of pre-assembled platforms for stage FX. The modules come with four threads on the bottom side and due to that they can easily be mounted on platforms or steel ropes.
As usual all parameters of all outputs can be freely programmed and stepped. The parameters of all outputs can be edited and checked either directly at the receiver or remotely by using the controller PFC Advanced or USB Radio Modem.
Instead of a Matrix Module a so called Adapter Board is applied on top of the PFE Advanced 10 Outputs which has six connectors for multicore cables. The connection between the Adapter Board and the Split Matrix Modules is established with multicore cables.
Every Split Matrix is equipped with two connectors for the multicore cables, so that another cable can be used to connect to the next Split Matrix Board. Star shaped as well as line shaped cable networks are possible. Output 100 is used to calibrate the resistance metering and should be used as close as possible to the receiver so that the cable resistance of the additional wiring is taken into consideration when the device is measuring the resistance of the firing lines.
By using coding bridges the output group(s) a module should have can be determined. It is also allowed to use the same output group on several modules. This is equivalent to a parallel connection of e-matches.
Both, the sockets on the Split Matrix Modules and the connectors of the multicore cables as well as on the Adaptor Board are gold-plated.

Airbursts from various manufacturers such as LeMaitre and Ultratec can be connected directly thanks to RJ12 connectors. This eliminates the need to cut the plugs, strip the insulation and connect the cables to quick-fastening clamps. The Airburst matrix gives Plug&amp;Play a completely new dimension.
With the Airburst Matrix it is also possible to connect standard e-matches. All the user has to do is insert the cables of the e-matches into unassembled RJ12 plugs and connect them by using a crimping tool. The PFC Advanced was designed to fire pyrotechnic shows. It is a completely self-sufficient firing device that users worldwide have relied on for more than 15 years. Due to the various interfaces, this device is also ideal for complex music fireworks and multimedia shows.
The device offers a fully integrated wireless solution. No external radio modules are required. In addition, the function does not depend on any external data lines. This eliminates these frequent sources of error.
The PFC Advanced has the following interfaces for integration into multimedia shows: SMPTE Timecode and DMX512.
The device has a very large, illuminated LC display with touch operation. The menu navigation is graphical and multilingual with icons and plain text. Illuminated function keys ensure convenient operation.
Info texts can be assigned manually to each firing channel or loaded from the PC via USB. This means that you can constantly read on the display which effect will be fired next. You have the option of firing manually, automatically (firing script) or semi-automatically (mixture of manual and firing script). In all firing modes you can trigger spare channels at any time.
In manual firing mode, you can quickly access all firing channels directly via a graphically displayed keypad. A dead man’s switch and the possibility to suppress the firing channel during the running automatic firing script offers additional safety.
In addition, you can also intervene at any time with the functions ‘Pause’, ‘Cancel’ and ‘Immediately fire next channel’ during automatic firing. Firing scripts can either be entered manually or loaded into the device via the RS232 and USB interfaces.
The smallest time interval between two firing channels is 0.3 seconds, the largest 999.9 seconds. To be able to fire effects in even shorter intervals, we recommend our stepper extensions for the PFE Advanced receivers. Here the timing between the firing cues can be lowered to just 0.01 seconds. Even the most extreme applications (fast and long step sequences, dynamic speed changes) can be easily realized here.
An external firing input enables you to trigger external firings. Thus push buttons, light barriers, tear ropes and much more can be used as firing triggers.
The power supply is provided by a high-performance rechargeable battery, which allows an operating time of up to 6 hours. The status of the built-in battery is accurately displayed. In addition, you can supply the device with an external voltage source via a multifunction socket. Intelligent charging electronics ensure that the batteries are always kept at 100% availability without overcharging.
No connection to a PC is required for firing. This means for you: No laptop that reacts sensitively to temperatures, humidity and vibrations, no unstable operating systems and no error-prone cable connections are necessary!

The PFE Advanced 10 Outputs is the most renowned receiver in the field of wireless firing technology and is a true all-rounder. A real revolution, since the year 2002. The receiver is waterproof (at least IP65) and has an ultra-stable housing made of thick-walled, anodized aluminum. This allows the device to be used even in the most extreme outdoor applications. This DMX interface is used to easily control effect devices with a DMX-512 input with a PFE Advanced receiver and to integrate these devices in the system. Typical applications are the control of smoke machines and flame projectors.
It is required that the receiver is equipped with the Terminal function. This enables the user to program several firing cues to each output and to determine the duration how long the outputs should be active.
The interface comes with a safety input and five control inputs and is powered from the receiver. In general the safety input is used for the power supply. As soon as voltage is present on the safety input a DMX signal is being generated with DMX channel 1 on 100%. The inputs 1-5 are translated to the DMX channels 2-6 (0% or 100%).
Even though DMX is considered to be an unsafe protocol (no checksums or other safety measures are implemented) the usage of this interface is rather safe, because the DMX signal is only generated if the interface is powered from the receiver’s output.

This DMX interface is used to easily control effect devices with a DMX-512 input with a PFE Advanced receiver and to integrate these devices in the system. Typical applications are the control of smoke machines and flame projectors.

The PFE Advanced Mini 5 Outputs is the newest receiver of the Advanced series. Thanks to its compact size, it is ideal for SFX and stage pyrotechnics.
The five outputs of the PFE Advanced Mini 5 can be individually programmed directly on the device and optionally stepped. Of course, the PFE Advanced Mini 5 can also be programmed directly by radio from the PFC Advanced.
The internal resistance measurement indicates exactly how high the resistance of the connected e-matches including the igniter cable is. The result can be read either on the device itself or remotely from the PFC Advanced. Based on the resistance values of the connected firing circuits and the set limit resistance, the device automatically determines whether firing is reliably possible and displays this to you.
A new type of connection socket makes working much easier. No tools are required for connecting and disconnecting. To connect the igniter cable, it is simply plugged into the contact mechanism and automatically clamped. To disconnect the cables, simply press the respective button to release the cable. The connection terminal can also be removed completely. This makes the preparation of effects much easier, especially if it is a recurring show or the preparation of numerous props for multiple takes on the set.
The device is operated with two Mignon cells, which can be alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable batteries. The operating time is up to approx. 18 hours. Using the optional Sleep mode, the stand-by time can be increased to 23 days.
Each of the five firing outputs has its own capacitor. This means that a short circuit on one output does not affect the firing power of the other outputs.
The device can trigger 3 ‘A’ or 2 ‘U’ e-matches in parallel or series connection on each output.
To increase the firing power, several outputs can also be programmed identically and thus fired simultaneously – without any time delay.

The Galaxis Composer software is a powerful design suite for all Galaxis users for scripting of music-synchronized shows. Of course, projects without music synchronization can also be realized with it.
This software offers a highly efficient effect database, which includes all relevant parameters, and it is an inventory management system as well.
The design of flame shows with the G-Flames has been implemented and here a visual simulation of the shows is at your disposal.
After you are finished with the design, in part or as a whole, you can easily export the data in order to create a simulation of the show with one of the professional solutions like ShowSim, Finale 3D or others.
In conjunction with the Galaxis wireless USB modem PFM Advanced the computer is transformed into a convenient remote programming and test tool for bi-directional devices like Advanced receivers and G-Flames. Due to the quick programming function, these devices can be programmed very efficiently. Furthermore, the Composer can scan all available radio channels and informs you which channels are occupied by other applications.
The firing script is being downloaded to the Controller PFC Advanced via USB before the show. The display is always being fired from the controller and never from the PC to avoid that blue screens or ‘fatal exception errors at address XY’ can spoil whole shows.
Comprehensive import and export functions are available. Due to the compatibility with the most professional visualization and scripting software, the Composer offers ultimate freedom to the designer.
Another useful function of the Composer is the generation of SMPTE Timecode wave files.
